🎉 Ruffle Mobile Emulator – First Release!

Hey everyone!

After weeks of development, polishing, testing, fixing weird Flash quirks and fighting with WebView focus bugs 😅 — the first public release of Ruffle Mobile Emulator is finally here!

This is the initial version of a project built from scratch to bring classic Flash games back to life on Android devices — with modern UI, smooth performance and fully customizable mobile controls.

🚀 What’s Included in v1.0

✔ Fully working Ruffle engine on Android

Runs your SWF files locally using an internal server, without internet, ads or tracking.

✔ Game Import System

Choose a SWF file → pick a name → pick orientation → done.

The emulator organizes everything automatically inside the RuffleEmu/Games/ folder.

✔ Beautiful Modern UI

Dark, clean, blur-based interface designed for mobile users.

Fast, smooth and built for one handed navigation.

✔ Customizable On-Screen Controls

You can add:

Joystick (4/8 way)

Buttons

Rapid buttons (coming soon)

D-Pad (coming soon)

Look joystick (coming soon)

Each game saves its own layout — no need to reconfigure.

✔ Save Data Support

LocalStorage works — your Flash games can save progress, options and scores.

✔ Hardware Acceleration Toggle

Choose WebGL or Canvas mode depending on device performance.

🧩 Known Issues

Since this is the first release, some things still need refinement:

Some games rely on mouseX/mouseY as aiming input (update coming).

WebView may sometimes require refocusing after launch (temporary workaround included).

Keyboard emulation for certain Flash titles still needs polishing.

These will be gradually improved through updates.
